Building fence at the Earthquake Housing Project.
Lots of the people from the village liked to try to talk to the team while we took break.
Some of the children loved to help.
Some of the people from the village helped too.
Shea and Dale built cabinets for Wismith's house.
They finished the cabinets outside and then brought them back in at the end of the day.
The beautiful cabinets. The wood for the cabinet face is from the mahogany trees that drowned in the lake behind the mission house.
Building a door frame for the children's home.
The new stairs to go to the second story of the children's home.
Painting the surgery room in the hospital with an epoxy paint. Very strong stuff. The fumes almost knocked us out.
These are the old outhouses for the school and church. With more than 700 people a day using them, the odor is terrible.
Mixing concrete to pour the floors in the new bathrooms.
Plumbing for the new bathrooms
Learning to put on the slick Haitian finish.
Boss Christen finishing the concrete.
Putting the colored powder into the finish.
We were blessed by this team from Canada. The members of the team were blessed to see the work the mission is doing and to see how different Haiti is from Canada. We trust that God used their time in Haiti to open their eyes to mission work around the world.
Jesus parting words before he left this earth were, ""Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15 NKJV) Are we preaching the Gospel by Word and Deed?
