Baby Natali

When we took this sweet baby, Natali to a hospital there was no one available to see her due to a holiday. The next morning Matt left early with her and her young mother to try again.

We found a hospital that could help. They took a CT scan and sent to the states to be read. It was determined that the surgery could be done in Haiti. She stayed at the children's home for about a month until the surgery.

This is the day Baby Natali was admitted to the hospital to have the evil tumor removed from her face.

This is baby Natali with her tumor removed!! Praise God!! The surgery went well and they have sent her tumor to a lab to test it. Thank you for praying for her!

Baby Natali came home from the hospital yesterday!! Her surgery went well and her mama did a good job taking care of her during the time she was in the hospital. She will stay at our house until there is no more risk of infection then return home to her mama. Thank you for all your prayers and the donations that made this surgery possible!!

Baptism, Feet washing, and Communion

This evening the Water of Life Mennonite Church in Pays Pourri
(our church in the mountains) joined us for baptism, foot washing and communion.

The ones receiving baptism wear white. All the ones receiving baptism today are from our church in Pays Pourri.

A rain storm was blowing in.

The people from the mountains are not used to the lake. It was frightening for some of them.

Feet washing.

Distributing the emblems.

Remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross for us, so that we can have forgiveness and cleansing from sin. Thank you Jesus.
